Our Story

From quaint working farm to a must-visit destination.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s fruit. Makers of fruit wines, traditionally fermented vinegars and gourmet condiments since 1984, we’ve come a long way since the days of selling home-made jam out of our Cottage Café.

Our artisan range has since extended to include ciders, fruit liqueurs, fortified wines, preserves, sauces, syrups and dressings – all crafted in-house from the freshest seasonal produce.

And because we know fruit, we know the value of nurturing our roots. Our growing reputation across Australia for exceptional wines and high-quality gourmet goods is a testament to the many original staff members who still work on the farm and are considered treasured members of the Berry Farm family.

In 2006, the Berry Farm adopted new owners Rebecca French and fiancé Michael Skivinis when the two lunch regulars serendipitously discovered their favourite destination was on the market.

The couple moved down from Perth to take over the business and were married in the cottage gardens the following year. Four kids and more than a decade later, the Berry Farm has grown to become a multi-award-winning destination in the Margaret River region.
