Our Thornhill wine label is named after the estate on which the Berry Farm now sits. The property was originally settled by pioneer Verna Vinall and her family during the 1920’s. Verna bought the property with her inheritance and consequently named it after the family estate which she had left behind in England.
Their original home was the cottage in which the Berry Farm Cottage Café now lives. The story of Thornhill is written on the label because we believe it is a story worth telling. The Blue Wren is prominent because these stunning birds are so abundant in our gardens and also worthy of note.
The rich history of the farm, a harmonious relationship with nature, and our commitment to creating the finest products. We continue the tradition of embracing nature and celebrating the awe-inspiring landscape by providing a premier array of wines. From the elegant to the bold, you’ll find a Thornhill wine that is perfect for your palate and your plate.
